Our Boys Overseas:
Thought I'd drop you a quick note and tell you how some of your "goodies" are performing in the "real-world" conditions.

The mini-lite...works like a CHAMP...great light for non-cockpit ops. I use this thing when I'm crawling around in the back of the plane, loading up our secure radios and such. She is great for walking around the hard billets and not disturbing my roommate(s) during those middle-of-the-night head calls. Fingerlites...this is fantastic...thumb switch is a great convenience.

Lip Light MK3
Lip Light Anvid LP - The New US Military Standard

featured MK3 LIP LIGHT is an enhanced version of our previous lip lights. Two important features have been added to the new Mk3 light. The first is adjustable brightness. The brightness level is adjusted by depressing and holding the mode switch as it automatically cycles up and down through several intensity settings; when the desired level is reached the control is released. Secondly, the on-board microprocessor remembers the last intensity setting and automatically returns to it, when the unit turned OFF and reactivated.

IN NIGHT COMBAT OPERATIONS, aviators often operate with night vision goggles (NVG), such as the aviator’s night vision imaging system (ANVIS). During ANVIS operations, it is often necessary to fly with instrument lights either off or at very low settings. To read the instruments, supplemental light is often needed. The Mk3 offers adjustable intensity illumination and lets the crewmen adjust it to best reading level. Just like the Mk1, the MK3 can be ordered in an NVG-version that uses NVG compatible green LEDs so as to not interfere with featured2 ANVIS goggles.

· Small, lightweight and rugged
· Adapts to most boom microphone headsets
· Remote battery housing
· Common AA-Battery operation
· Qualified and Certified by US Military

Mk3 Lip Light is manually switched between ON, FLOOD, SPOT, STANDBY, and OFF modes. For full-time operation, the user selects the ON mode. In the STANDBY mode the Mk3 is momentarily activated, by pressing the switch with the lower lip. When released the light goes out. When illuminated, the Mk3 operates in selected FLOOD or SPOT mode. The battery housing is separate and can be attached to the pilot’s helmet or upper body clothing.

Lip Light MK4

featured Originally developed by Cejay Engineering in the 1980’s, the Lip Lights design provides Pilots a hands-free illumination device for use during night flight operations. Since its inception, the Lip Lights role and functionality have extended making it a required tool for cockpit, battle tank and flight deck.

The MK4 Lip Light is the first light developed to incorporate the batteries directly into the light itself, making the overall package lighter as well as removing the need for an exterior battery pack and cumbersome power cable.

Like the MK3 Lip Light, the MK4 Lip Light uses one SPOT and three FLOOD Super Bright LED’s to light the work area. The operator can easily switch between SPOT, FLOOD or SPOT and FLOOD light modes to change the size of the area illuminated via the single mode function button on the front of the unit. SPOT and FLOOD LED’s can be ordered in different color combinations allowing the same light to be used in different roles. The mode function button also allows the operator to adjust the lights brightness level providing additional featured2 flexibility.

The Mk4 Lip Light is activated by depressing the lip switch on the back of the unit. The MK 4 features a unique lock-out system to prevent the user from inadvertently activating the light when storing or during tactical operations and an adjustable “auto-off” function to maximize battery life.

Since its introduction, the lip light has been widely adopted by civil, military and law enforcement professionals as a necessity for use during low-light operations.
