Finger Light standard for the US Military and a wide range of applications
FINGER LIGHT MK8 was designed as a low cost finger light with rotating ON-OFF cap switch. It has a very positive and audible, tactile switch that is operated by tuning the battery cap. An end clip ensures the rotating cap is held tight and restrained on the body in the set position. The Mk8 is available in a wide range of beam colors. Like all of our finger lights, it is easily mounted on a finger of either hand or to other items with the supplied mounting adapters. The light has a spot source and can be used as a pointer, to read maps, instruments and notes.
IN BOTH MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT, crewmen often need supplemental light to illuminate instruments and other cockpit accessories. In these cases, the crewmen may use the versatile finger light. The Mk8 offers augmenting illumination that is easily used with checklists, charts or for finding equipment stowed in a helmet bag.
